When booking your reservations using the Interrail Self-Service or the Discover EU Travel App, most tickets are issued as e-tickets and sent to you directly via email.
However, please keep in mind that some trains still require a paper reservation ticket. This is specified when you book a reservation. In this case, you need to book some time in advance to allow time for the delivery of the ticket. You will receive an estimate of the time it takes to ship this ticket to you, and we will provide you with a track & trace code once your paper ticket is on its way. That way you can follow its status, and make sure it finds its way to you before your trip!
If your departure date is already close, you can best make your reservation at a train station.
