Reservation fees differ per country and train type. They are set by railway companies and will vary based on the type of train, class, and accommodation.
If you have been awarded in June 2024 or later, you will receive 4 seat reservation credits together with your DiscoverEU Interrail Pass. You can find more information about seat reservation credits in this article. Once all your seat reservations credits have been used and you wish to book more trains, then you need to pay it yourself.
Below is an indication of what to expect. You can also find all the exact fees per country via the links. Note that these lists are not exhaustive, and are subject to change. Note that a 2 euro booking fee per traveller per train also applies to seat reservation orders. This fee is non-refundable.
